Art deco feel, great coloring throughout this advertisement. Creative typefaces, really liking the main text at the top of the page. Very clean lines and untraditional.

Half solid color, half photo
Thinking of this layout, how half is a solid color and half is a photo with photos on top of photos.
The solid change between the two is clean and simple. Overlapping images shows depth and creativity.
City Ad
Using my lanterns as a city looking concept, though this city looks very interesting with its different angles.
City scape look
For the magazine ad maybe play around with having a "city scape" along the bottom of the site. Accompany that with some lantern photos perhaps to create and overall look...
Starbucks Ad
Great use of a photo combined with a bold typeface in all caps to stand out and show its importance. White text stands out well with the darker background of this photo. Strip of green at the bottom with logo adds a pop of color and a focal point to show the logo again in this ad.

Double sided card.
Retro light coloring, targeted towards women. Centered logo and imaging on the front of the card, with most information on the back of the card. Background pattern more on the front then on the back, using with to balance out the side with all the contact information.

Line designed envelope
A lines based envelope design, using both vertical and horizontal lining in light and dark colors. The black line stands out on the pink design, making the information on the black rectangle stand out especially if the font is on a bright white.
