two-sided card blue and white
Shadowing of the logo on the back of the business card (upper white card), centering of the logo on the font of this two sided card shows the importance of the company and that the logo is key.
Speckled envelopes
Speckled envelope with a blue coloring instead of the common white. Using white labels on the front can help text or logos stand out on the front to be legible and noticeable.
Busy envelope
A very detailed envelope. Pretty but definitely not suitable for mailing as a company or to display a logo. Too busy but for a personal card it would work very well.
City envelope
City scape inside of an envelope. Black and white coloring looks very nice in the basic white base of the envelope.
Travel envelope
Map inside of the envelope, the map looks very nice inside of the grey. Very appealing for a travel agent or travel company.
Matching stationary
This envelope matches the letterhead and business card for this company. Using the design on the left side with all of the information. Logo on top and information
below.
Umbrella envelope
Design graphic within the envelope lid. Very creative idea for when someone opens the envelope they get a little surprise within.

Piano card (folding)
This card doubles as a business card and a creative activity, involves the audience in reading the card while folding it into a piano. I wonder if the instructions are on the back of the card, otherwise you wouldn't know to fold it into a piano looking at it straight on.
Tea bag card
A photography tea bag business card.....must have something to do with tea partie shoots or something. Still a cute concept with the pressed in pattern and typeface.
See-through card
Very outspoken business card. Elegant and modern, focusing on the subject and making the background fade into a see-through backdrop. With the logo in black in the corner. Something a customer/ viewer will remember and keep around for awhile.
Camera looking card
This photography business card is very detailed! All of the lines and shapes on this card will definitely add to the wow-ness factor although the cost will dramatically go up per card. I'm thinking that all of the information is located on the back of the card.
Eye in lens card
Very simple yet creative approach to portraying the lens and an eye in the shutter. All black with brighter shades of blue and green really stand out an compliment one another.
Photo based card
Great use of displaying your photography with also including your information. This gives the viewer an idea of your capabilities and perspective of photography, while also giving your name and contact information. The black and white photo with the yellow really pops and looks great with the colors contrasting. Also the sliver of the photo on the yellow side gives a little sneak peak before turning it around.
Wing card
I like the way that this designer took the front logo and enlarged the one wing in the corner of the card. Still using their "brand" while being less subtle and more abstract. The red coloring stands out on the bright white background. I aslo like the centered logo on the front and on the back its less centered and the image/text takes up the whole back of the business card.
Coffee cup card
Business cards in the shape of coffee cups! Very cute and rememberable way of displaying your company in a different way. Definitely a more expensive approach to a business card but its a card that the customer will keep and enjoy.
Sophisticated card
A very sophisticated business card, using only black as the font color and image color. Still a very strong card. The background textured look makes it look antique. Almost like an overlaying of lace.
Black and white card
I'm a sucker for a beautiful black and white design. Simple, elegant, and cost efficient.
The way the white box includes the information helps to separate the design from the typography.
Four season business card
Very simple and natural design, assuming that all of the information will be presented on the back since the information is so limited on the front/
Pink business card
A very girly business card, probably good for a hair salon or makeup store. I like the fact that both sides use the same color scheme but flip flop the importance of each color to show the difference from the front to the back.
Nikon Len Business Card
This double-sided business card is really cool, probably cost an arm and leg to make it with the way its cut. I really enjoy how he chose type that matched up with the font used on Nikon lens. Very interesting and affective.

Cloud Nine
This cloud nine is targeted towards a younger crowd, children, represented well with the kite and ribbons along the corners of the page. The coloring also connects to the younger generation, the ribbon helps center the body of the page and catches your eye when and where it is needed. Maybe the top right information can be placed in the bottom right to balance out the page.
Coffee Break
The mixture of gold and brown is well selected so that this coffee shop comes across to the viewer as trustworthy, reliable, and top quality. The logo is in an abstract shape of a coffee bean, giving the customer something to think about when looking at the sign. The gold gives of a luxury feel that makes the customer think the coffee will be worth their money. The little phrase in the top right draws you in and makes you feel connected to this business.
Interior design letterhead
This letterhead design for an interior designer works so well, the shades of purple show elegance and beauty. The chandelier as part of the logo shows that her designs are fancy and top quality. The information along the side of the letter is a little awkward since you have to tilt your head or turn the page to read the information.
Vet letterhead
This letterhead is for a veterinary hospital using animals as their letterhead concept and having all of their information at the bottom of the page. They may want to include their name at the top of letter somehow. Possibly on an animal or below the animals in a bold font that will stand out secondly after seeing the animals at the top.
Faded background
I enjoy the coloring of the letterhead where is it just grayscale and white. The fading background draws your attention to the center of the page where the body text would be located. The centering of the logo at the top may work for it but it could also work in the left corner slightly larger in size to draw your attention.
Floral letterhead
I like the light gray at the bottom of the page showing floral designs. The selection of dark green works well with concept of the floral aspects of the business. The centered font at the bottom may work better condensed and aligned to the right side.
Landscaping letterhead
For a landscaping letterhead this is very simple and clean, I like the focus at the top of the page with the vine of leaves. The bottom is very light, maybe a darker shade of green can be applied to create a heavier feel throughout the page.

Forever 21 logo
This company has also been just a text based logo. Keeping it simple, clean, and legible. Adding the yellow backdrop pulls out the store amongst the millions of others in a shopping mall. The yellow color catches the customers eye making them think of the sun's warmth, creating positive feelings towards the store. Many creative people are attracted to yellow so that genre will be sure to stop in the store due to the logo out front.
Good old Boscov's...
So here is Boscov's logo... definitely geared towards an older audience/ customer. Wishing they could take this and keep some of the typography aspects but also modernise the logo to attract younger audiences. Possibly more than one color our a different detail underneath like stars.....or a shopping bag. Also something abstract could target a younger crowds attention.
Coffee letterhead
Very creative for a coffee shop letterhead! I love the use of the burlap bag textured look at the top of the letter. Gives that rustic coffee feel like you just purchased the freshest coffee beans right off of the train, ship, tuck. etc...
Also, the information located in the bottom right is well placed in a nutrition label tying in the coffee/food sense of the business.

STARBUCKS logos
1971-1987: The original logo in brown. Showing the siren's full body and detail.
1987-2010: This second logo became more abstract. Less detailed and change of colors to green and black.
2010-present: This logo is so well known the name doesn't need to be attached to the logo to know what it stands for.
WWF logo
A well known logo from the World Wide Fund for Nature. An abbreviation of there name underneath an endangered animal to show the relevance of the logo to the organization.
Grayscale flowers
This letterhead contains just grayscale coloring. Which is cost affective and classic. Color could add to this letterhead but otherwise the design is very feminine. The flowers and spirals swirls in the corners adds a great center to the page. It frames the body of the letterhead and centers your attention.
Heavy letterhead
This letterhead had a nice vibe to it. The top is simple and open, while the bottom contains the most color and information. The design at the bottom add weight to the end of the paper but it grabs my attention first. I guess it all depends on what the designer and company are looking to convey in their letterhead.

Blue letterhead
This is a nice design for a simple yet sophisticated letterhead. The line design next to the logo is intricate and beautifully done. The color is a light shade of blue which looks clean, fancy, and attractive towards both genders.

"Barbie" pink logo
Mattel's Barbie logo is targeted towards younger girls with its feminine hot pink color that appeals to young girls that gives of a playful, loving feel.
Shades of green
This logo uses various shades of green to make you feel fresh, natural, relaxed, and clean. The leaf on the "f" also adds a creative flare for a landscaping company.
McDonalds
When we think of yellow and red we automatically think about McDonalds with their golden arches. The yellow & red makes you think positive, eye catching, and an increased heart rate which makes you feel hungry.
Various colors in a letterhead.
Liking the different colors of font throughout this letterhead. The yellow makes this letter positive, creative, and eye catching. The white also throws in an airy feel, with a pure feel that also catches your eye. The cream also throws in a different shade of white to show contrast throughout this letter.

Colorful letterhead
This letterhead would be great for a fun event or company targeted towards children or younger crowds. The multi colored text creates a fun attention grabber that can catch the eye of viewers/customers.
Detailed letterhead
This letterhead is very large and detailed. You would need to center all of your font in the body of your letter to fit nicely within the bordered letterhead.
Je T'aime font
This font would be great for formal use such as weddings. The added scrolls on the "j" and the "e" make for a unique flare to a script font.

The "Swoosh"
This abstract logo is world known, due to it's popularity and visual recognition with its brand. Nike overly commercializes its nike "swoosh" throughout their commercial, clothing, shoes, and sports sponsoring. Clean, simple, and affective.
Zombie typeface into a logo
Zombie typeface for "The Walking Dead"! Very creative and unique, showing the relevance to the show (being about zombies) and the fun of this font. This font would create a great font based logo for the show.
Use of several font types
Liking the use of several type fonts within this piece. Each part of this sentence stands out apart from another. Some a little more than others, such as, "is like" is in bold font making it stand out above all the others. Also "negatives" in a bold outlining also stands out amongst the others.
Simple abstract logo type
A very basic/ abstract logo type. Using the L and the P to create a connected logo with a open circle around it.
